A good rule of thumb is to mow your lawn on a higher level in the cooler months and lower your mower deck in the growing season. By minimising the chance of scalping your lawn in the cooler months will decrease the likelihood of winter diseases showing their ugly heads due to lawn stress.

If your turf is in heavier shade, we recommend raising your mower deck by an extra 10mm on top of the recommended mowing heights.
